An Evening with Daisy Dunn

We were delighted to host award winning classicist and author Daisy Dunn for an evening event in the bookshop. Daisy discussed her latest title - The Missing Thread - a New History of the Ancient World Through the Women who Shaped it. 

We were treated to a glimpse of the ancient world through fresh eyes as she introduced us to an incredible cast of ancient women. Lots of discussion ensued and we were so grateful to Daisy for sharing her astonishing knowledge and insights with us.
