Wild Bill

Dexter Fletcher wrote and directed this excellent, poignant film set in London’s East End. After time in prison for drug offences, Wild Bill Hayward returns to his flat to find his two young teenage sons have been fending for themselves since their mother abandoned them during his time inside. Defensive and mistrustful of their father, Bill struggles to rebuild a life with his boys while protecting them, and himself, from the drug culture, the social services and the legacy of his own wild reputation. Superbly acted (including a cameo by Andy Serkis) with a funny, heart-warming script and characters you’ll really care for, this film will have you gripped.
